Georgia Peaches, Summertime and Rolls!!

Ingredients:

– For the Dough:
– 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
– 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 cup melted butter
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 2 large eggs
– 4 cups all-purpose flour

– For the Filling:
– 2 cups diced peaches (fresh or canned)
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

– For the Frosting:
– 4 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1/4 cup butter, softened
– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

1. Prepare the Dough:
– Dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar.
– Add sugar, butter, salt, eggs, and flour to a large bowl.
– Mix in the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
– Let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.

2. Make the Filling:
– Mix diced peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon.

3. Assemble Rolls:
– Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
– Spread the peach filling evenly.
– Roll up tightly and cut into 12 slices.
– Place in a greased baking dish.
– Let rise for 30 minutes.
– Preheat the oven to 350°F.

4. Bake:
– Bake the rolls for 25 minutes or until golden.

5. Prepare Frosting:
– Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

6. Finish:
– Drizzle frosting over warm rolls before serving.
