Old Fashioned Goulash
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups water
1 can (29 oz) tomato sauce
2 cans (15 oz each) diced tomatoes
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
2 bay leaves
1 tbsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
Directions:
In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until onions are translucent.
Pour in water, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, seasoned salt, and black pepper.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
Add the uncooked elbow macaroni, stir well, and let it simmer for another 20 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
Remove bay leaves and serve hot.
