Garlic Butter Honey BBQ Beef Tacos
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
2 tbsp garlic butter
1/4 cup honey BBQ sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
8 small flour or corn tortillas
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup diced red onion
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Optional toppings: sour cream, diced jalapeños, lime wedges
Directions:
In a large skillet, melt the garlic butter over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, until browned and fully cooked, about 7-8 minutes.
Drain excess grease, then stir in smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional minute.
Lower the heat and add the honey BBQ sauce and honey. Stir well to coat the beef and simmer for 2-3 minutes, letting the flavors blend together.
Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
Assemble the tacos by spooning the beef mixture onto the tortillas. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, diced red onion, and chopped cilantro. Add any optional toppings as desired.
Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
