Cheddar-Stuffed BBQ Bacon Bombs
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
4 oz cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
8 slices of bacon
½ cup BBQ sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Meat Mixture:
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Stuff the Meatballs:
Take a small portion of the meat mixture and flatten it into a disc. Place a cube of cheddar cheese in the center and wrap the meat around it, forming a sealed meatball. Repeat until all the meat mixture is used.
Wrap with Bacon:
Wrap each meatball with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
Cook the Bacon Bombs:
Preheat your grill or oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the bacon-wrapped meatballs on the grill or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cook for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crispy and the meatballs are cooked through.
Glaze with BBQ Sauce:
Brush the bacon bombs generously with BBQ sauce during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
Serve:
Remove the bacon bombs from the grill or oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve warm and enjoy these smoky, cheesy, and flavorful bites!
