Parmesan Garlic Bacon Cheeseburger Lasagna

Ingredients:

For the Meat Sauce:
1 pound ground beef
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Cheese Layers:
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)
For the Assembly:
12 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package instructions
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:

Prepare the Meat Sauce:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add garlic, crumbled bacon, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Mix the Cheese Filling: In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, and parsley (if using).
Assemble the Lasagna: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the dish. Place a layer of lasagna noodles on top.
Spread a layer of the cheese mixture, followed by more meat sauce and a sprinkle of mozzarella. Repeat the layers, ending with meat sauce on top.
Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and remaining mozzarella over the final layer.
Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
