Ingredients
For the Steak
2 filet mignon or ribeye steaks, about 1 inch thick
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Shrimp
12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Salt and pepper, to taste
Juice of half a lemon
Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
3 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes for a slight kick
Instructions
1. Cook the Steak
Season steaks generously with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add steaks and sear for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or cook to your preferred doneness.
Remove steaks, tent with foil, and set aside to rest.
2. Cook the Shrimp
Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
In the same skillet, add shrimp and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
3. Make the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
Let the sauce thicken for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally until smooth and creamy. Stir in chopped parsley.
4. Serve
Arrange the steak and shrimp on plates and generously spoon the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce over the top.
Garnish with additional parsley and Parmesan if desired.
This dish has a luxurious, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce that perfectly complements the savory steak and tender shrimp, making it irresistibly rich and satisfying.
