Cracked Out Chicken Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients:

4 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie works well)
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
1 cup sour cream
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
1 package (32 oz) frozen tater tots
1/2 cup chopped green onions (optional for garnish)

Directions:

Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Mix the Filling:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, sour cream, and condensed cream of chicken soup. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Add the Chicken:
Fold the shredded chicken into the cream cheese mixture. Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese and half of the crumbled bacon. Mix until everything is evenly incorporated.
Assemble the Casserole:
Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the bottom of the greased baking dish. Top with an even layer of frozen tater tots.
Add Cheese and Bacon:
Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots, followed by the rest of the crumbled bacon.
Bake:
Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish and Serve:
Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions for garnish if desired. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
