Crème Brûlée Cookie Bars
Ingredients:
½ cup (113g) unsalted butter
12 oz (about 2 cups / 350g) white chocolate chips
1¼ cups (155g) all-purpose flour
¾ cup (149g) granulated sugar
1 tbsp (15ml) vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt
3 large eggs
1 cup toffee bits
Directions:
Make Batter:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a saucepan, melt butter and white chocolate chips over low heat, stirring until smooth.
Remove from heat and transfer to a large mixing bowl.
Stir in sugar, vanilla, and salt.
Add eggs one at a time, stirring well after each.
Mix in flour until fully combined.
Assemble Bars:
Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake in Two Stages:
Bake for 25 minutes.
Remove from oven, sprinkle toffee bits evenly on top.
Return to oven and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes, until edges are golden and center is set.
Cool & Serve:
Let bars cool completely in the pan.
Slice into squares and enjoy!
