Meat Lovers Pepperoni Pizza Tacos

Ingredients

For the Filling:
1 lb sausage, casings removed
1 cup pepperoni slices
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup pizza sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
For the Tacos:
8 taco shells (hard or soft)
Optional toppings: diced bell peppers, sliced olives, red onion, fresh basil, or grated Parmesan

Instructions

Cook the Sausage: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
Add the Pepperoni & Sauce: Stir in the pepperoni slices, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and pizza sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Melt the Cheese: Remove from heat and fold in the shredded mozzarella until melted and evenly mixed.
Prepare the Taco Shells:
If using hard taco shells, bake according to package instructions until crispy.
If using soft shells, warm them in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds.
Assemble the Tacos: Spoon the pizza-inspired filling into each taco shell. Add your favorite toppings for extra flavor and texture.
Finish with Sauce & Serve: Drizzle extra pizza sauce over the top and serve immediately. Pair with a side salad or dipping sauces for a complete meal.
