Good Burgers For Good Fu*ck
Ingredients
1 ½ lbs ground beef (or Italian sausage for extra flavor)
1 small onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 ½ cups pizza sauce
1 cup pepperoni, chopped
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 hamburger buns or hoagie rolls
2 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
Optional toppings: sliced black olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, red pepper flakes
Instructions
Step 1: Brown the Meat
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef (or sausage) until browned.
Drain excess grease and transfer the meat to the Crockpot.
Step 2: Add Flavor
Add diced onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
Pour in the pizza sauce and chopped pepperoni, mixing well.
Step 3: Slow Cook
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
Step 4: Melt the Cheese
In the last 30 minutes, stir in the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Let it melt into the mixture.
Step 5: Prepare the Buns
Butter the buns and toast them in a skillet until golden brown.
Step 6: Assemble & Serve
Spoon the pizza burger mixture onto the toasted buns.
Add extra toppings like olives, bell peppers, or mushrooms if desired.
