Creamy Garlic Alfredo Chicken & Bacon Tortilla Bake
Ingredients
2 large flour tortillas
2 cups cooked, shredded chicken breast
4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (for added creaminess)
1 cup Alfredo sauce
2 tablespoons garlic herb butter (for rich flavor and texture)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for a crispy, savory topping)
1/4 cup sliced mushrooms (optional, for a savory boost)
Chopped chives or green onions for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the Filling:
In a skillet over medium heat, melt the garlic herb butter. Add the shredded chicken, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika. Sauté for about 3 minutes, until fragrant and lightly golden.
Add the crumbled bacon to the skillet, stirring briefly to mix well.
Assemble the Tortilla Wraps:
Lay the tortillas on a flat surface, sprinkle a mix of mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses in the center, and add the chicken-bacon mixture on top. Roll up each tortilla tightly, tucking in the sides as you roll.
Prepare the Alfredo Bake Topping:
In a small bowl, combine Alfredo sauce with grated Parmesan cheese for a creamy, flavorful topping. For an extra layer, mix in the optional mushrooms.
Bake the Wraps:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the filled tortillas seam-side down in a baking dish. Pour the Alfredo-Parmesan mixture over the top, then sprinkle additional mozzarella on top for a melted, golden finish.
Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the top is bubbling and golden.
Serve:
Garnish with chopped chives or green onions for color and freshness. Serve warm and enjoy the loaded, savory flavors!
