Crispy Chicken with Creamy Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:

– 2 large chicken breasts, cut into thin fillets
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– 2 eggs
– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
– 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Sauce:
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup chicken broth
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Directions:

1. In a shallow dish, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
2. In a separate dish, beat the eggs. In a third dish, place the flour.
3. Dredge each chicken fillet in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
4. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
5. In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
6. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in salt, pepper, and mustard powder. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
7. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
8. Pour the creamy garlic sauce over the crispy chicken and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm.
