Chicken Bacon Ranch Tater Tot Casserole – an irresistible comfort food!

Ingredients:

• 6 slices cooked bacon, chopped
• 4 cooked, shredded chicken breasts
• 32 oz. frozen tater tots
• ½ cup ranch dressing
• 1 cup milk
• 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 3 tbsp butter
• 1½ cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
• Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

Prepare the Sauce:
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk for about 1-2 minutes to make a roux. Slowly add the milk while continuing to whisk to prevent lumps. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the ranch dressing and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Casserole:
In the prepared baking dish, layer the frozen tater tots evenly at the bottom. Add the shredded chicken and chopped bacon on top of the tater tots. Pour the ranch sauce evenly over the chicken and bacon.

Top with Cheese:
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the casserole.

Bake:
