Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bake
Ingredients:
2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
6 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Maple syrup (for serving)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls:
Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Place the quartered rolls evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Make the Egg Mixture:
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
Combine:
Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces in the baking dish, ensuring they are evenly coated. If using, sprinkle the chopped pecans or walnuts on top.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the egg is set and the top is golden brown.
Add Icing:
While the bake is still warm, drizzle the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls over the top.
Serve:
Slice and serve warm with maple syrup if desired.
