Butterfinger Caramel Crunch Bars
Indulge in layers of buttery graham cracker crust, gooey caramel, and crunchy Butterfinger bits, topped with smooth melted chocolate. These bars are perfect for any sweet occasion!
Ingredients
For the Crust
1 cup butter, melted
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
For the Filling & Topping
1 package (10 oz) Butterfinger baking bits
1 package (11 oz) caramel bits
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
Step 1: Prepare the Crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and peanut butter. Mix until well combined.
Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
Step 2: Bake the Crust
Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven. Allow the crust to cool slightly.
Step 3: Add the Butterfinger Bits
Once the crust has cooled, sprinkle the Butterfinger baking bits evenly over the top.
Step 4: Prepare the Caramel Layer
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine caramel bits and heavy cream.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the caramel is melted and smooth.
Pour the melted caramel evenly over the Butterfinger layer.
Step 5: Add the Chocolate Drizzle
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, using the same 30-second interval method. Stir until smooth.
Drizzle the melted chocolate over the caramel layer.
Step 6: Set and Serve
Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
Once chilled, cut into squares and serve.
