Joe’s Crab Shack Crab Dip
Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup lump crab meat, drained and picked over
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish to prevent sticking.
Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture:
In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer or whisk until smooth and creamy.
Add Remaining Ingredients:
Stir in the sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
Transfer to Baking Dish:
Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly for consistent baking.
Bake the Dip:
Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is hot and bubbly.
Cool and Garnish:
Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly for 5 minutes. Optionally, sprinkle chopped green onions over the top for added flavor and a pop of color.
Serve:
Serve warm with crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetables for dipping.
