Fiery Chicken Ramen with Creamy Garlic Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for heat)
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Ramen:
2 packs instant ramen noodles (discard the seasoning packets)
4 cups chicken broth
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha (or more for extra heat)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup whole milk
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Toppings:
Sliced green onions
Soft-boiled eggs
Sesame seeds
Fresh cilantro or parsley
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken:
Season the chicken breasts with smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from the skillet, let rest for 5 minutes, and slice thinly.
Cook the Ramen:
In a medium pot, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add soy sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil. Stir to combine.
Cook the ramen noodles in the broth according to package instructions (usually 3-4 minutes). Remove from heat but keep warm.
Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Stir in the flour and cook for another minute to form a roux. Slowly whisk in the milk and heavy cream, stirring constantly until thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
Assemble the Dish:
Divide the cooked ramen noodles and broth into bowls. Add a generous drizzle of creamy garlic sauce over the noodles.
Top each bowl with sliced chicken, soft-boiled eggs, green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro or parsley.
Serve:
Serve hot with an extra splash of sriracha if you’re feeling bold. The combination of fiery broth and creamy garlic sauce creates a rich, satisfying bowl of ramen that’ll warm you right up!
