French Onion Crockpot Meatloaf

Ingredients:

1 ½ lbs ground beef
1 packet French onion soup mix
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 eggs
½ cup milk
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups sliced onions
1 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions:

Prepare the Meatloaf Mixture:

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, French onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, mozzarella cheese, and cheddar cheese.
Mix well until fully combined.
Shape the Meatloaf:

Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the crockpot.
Caramelize the Onions:

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the sliced onions and sauté for about 10 minutes until golden brown and caramelized.
Top the Meatloaf:

Spread the caramelized onions over the meatloaf in the crockpot.
Add the Sauce:

In a bowl, mix the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
Pour the mixture over the meatloaf and onions.
Cook the Meatloaf:

Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the meatloaf is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
Serve:

Carefully remove the meatloaf from the crockpot and slice it.
Spoon the flavorful sauce over the top and serve warm.
