Tender Garlic Butter Pork Chops with Cheesy Potatoes
Ingredients
for Pork Chops:
4 boneless pork chops
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Ingredients for Cheesy Potato Bake:
4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish for the potatoes.
For the cheesy potato bake, arrange the sliced potatoes in the baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix together the heavy cream, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour over the potatoes.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top and cover with foil.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, removing the foil for the last 10 minutes to allow the cheese to melt and turn golden.
While the potatoes bake, heat butter in a skillet over medium heat for the pork chops.
Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and chopped thyme. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Serve the garlic butter pork chops alongside the cheesy potato bake for a satisfying meal.
