BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Lasagna – bring on the flavor!

Ingredients:

– 9 lasagna noodles
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
– 1 small onion, diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 cups BBQ sauce
– 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1 cup ricotta cheese
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Prepare the Noodles:
Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, then set aside on a plate to avoid sticking.

Cook the Beef Mixture:
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the onions are translucent. Stir in the BBQ sauce, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Let simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

Assemble the Lasagna:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Begin with a layer of noodles, followed by a layer of the BBQ beef mixture. Sprinkle some of the crumbled bacon over the beef, then top with a combination of cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Repeat these layers twice more, finishing with a final layer of cheese on top.

Add Ricotta & Sour Cream Mixture:
In a small bowl, mix the ricotta cheese and sour cream until smooth. Drop dollops of this mixture over the lasagna and spread lightly with the back of a spoon.

Bake:
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish & Serve:
