Experience culinary excellence with this dish. Tender chicken, marinated and glazed to perfection, offers a harmonious blend of sweet and savory flavors. A must-try for aficionados of Asian cuisine!

Ingredients:

– 300 grams Chicken Thigh (preferably fatty ones)
Marinade:
– 1 tbsp Honey
– 1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
– 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
– 1 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce (or Kecap Manis)
– 2 tbsps Brown Sugar
– 2 cloves Garlic, pureed or grated
– 1 inch Ginger, pureed or grated
– 1 tsp Chinese Five Spice powder
– Pinch of White Pepper
– 1 tsp Red Food Coloring (optional)

Directions:

1. In a bowl or ziplock bag, mix the marinade ingredients.
2. Add the chicken to the marinade and let it marinate for a minimum of 2 hours to overnight in the refrigerator.
3. Remove the chicken from the fridge and let it come to room temperature for about 15-20 minutes to avoid placing very cold chicken in the oven. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius or 390 degrees Fahrenheit.
4. Place the chicken on a baking tray and transfer it to the preheated oven.
5. Bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
6. Allow the chicken to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
