Ingredients:
1 ½ lbs ground beef
8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 large egg
½ cup milk
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Cooking spray or oil (for greasing)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan with cooking spray or oil to prevent sticking.
Prepare the Meat Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled bacon, chopped mushrooms, shredded Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Shape the Meatloaf:
Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf. Smooth the top with a spatula for an even surface.
Bake the Meatloaf:
Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 60-75 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). The top should be browned and slightly crispy.
Rest and Serve:
Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. This will help the juices redistribute and make slicing easier.
