Ingredients:
1 lb chicken tenders
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Cooking spray or oil (for baking)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat with cooking spray or oil.
Set up three bowls for breading: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of panko breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, turkey bacon crumbles, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Dip each chicken tender into the flour, shaking off excess. Then dip into the eggs, followed by coating it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
Place the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is golden and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
