Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
12 lasagna noodles
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook Lasagna Noodles: Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay them flat on a baking sheet to prevent sticking.
Prepare Meatballs: In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into small meatballs.
Cook Meatballs: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from the heat and set aside.
Assemble Roll-Ups: Spread a layer of ricotta cheese on each lasagna noodle. Place a few meatballs on top of the cheese. Roll up each noodle carefully and place them seam-side down in a baking dish.
Add Sauce and Cheese: Pour marinara sauce evenly over the lasagna roll-ups. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve warm and enjoy this delicious twist on classic lasagna!
