Ingredients:

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
1 large egg
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs and milk. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, ground pork, salt, pepper, nutmeg, allspice, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, egg, and the milk-soaked breadcrumbs.
Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.
While the meatballs are baking, prepare the gravy. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, until lightly browned.
Gradually whisk in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Remove the meatballs from the oven and add them to the skillet with the gravy. Simmer for 5 minutes, until the meatballs are heated through and coated with the sauce.
Prep Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes | Servings: 4-6
