Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients:

1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
4 slices bacon, chopped
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread them on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Scatter chopped bacon over the Brussels sprouts.
Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until Brussels sprouts are tender and bacon is crispy.
Drizzle with maple syrup and toss to coat.
Sprinkle with chopped walnuts if desired.
