Ingredients:
– 1 lb ground beef
– 2 cups elbow macaroni
– 1 small onion, finely chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
– 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
– 1 tablespoon tomato paste
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon dried basil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
1. Cook elbow macaroni until al dente, then set aside.
2. Brown ground beef in a skillet, then add onion and garlic.
3. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, herbs, salt, and pepper.
4. Mix in cooked macaroni, transfer to baking dish, and top with cheese.
5. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted.
6. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
