Ingredients:
1 whole chicken (about 4-5 lbs)
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup hot sauce (adjust to taste)
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, mix honey, hot sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Rub the mixture all over the chicken, making sure it’s well-coated.
Place the chicken on a rack in a roasting pan.
Roast for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden brown.
Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
