Ingredients:

– 1 pound ground beef
– ½ cup diced onion
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– ¼ teaspoon pepper
– 11 ounce tube Pillsbury refrigerated French bread dough
– ⅓ cup ketchup
– 3 Tablespoons mustard
– 6 slices cooked and crumbled bacon (or 1 package of store-bought bacon pieces)
– 2 dill pickle spears, chopped
– 8 slices American cheese
Topping:
– 1 large egg, beaten
– 1 Tablespoon sesame seeds
Serving sauce:
– Thousand Island dressing

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
2. In a large pan, cook and crumble 1 pound ground beef and ½ cup diced onion. Season with ¼ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper.
3. Roll out Pillsbury French bread dough into a large rectangle.
4. Spread ketchup and mustard over the dough, then layer cooked beef, bacon, pickles, and cheese.
5. Roll up the dough and place on the baking sheet.
6. Brush with beaten egg, sprinkle sesame seeds, and bake for 20-25 minutes.
7. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving with Thousand Island dressing.
