Chicken Shawarma

Ingredients:

2 lbs chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
1 cup plain yogurt
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp ground coriander
1 tbsp ground paprika
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, mix yogurt, olive oil, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken thighs and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.
Cook the Chicken: Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C). If grilling, cook the chicken on medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked. If using the oven, place the chicken on a baking sheet and cook for 20-25 minutes.
Serve and Enjoy: Slice the chicken into thin strips and serve with warm pita bread, fresh vegetables, and your favorite sauce. Sprinkle with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.
