Ingredients:

For the Steak:

4 beef cube steaks (about 4 oz each)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 large eggs
1/4 cup (60ml) milk
1 cup (240ml) vegetable oil, for frying
For the Gravy:

1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour
2 cups (480ml) milk
1/2 cup (120ml) chicken broth
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions:

Prepare Steak:

Season the cube steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
Prepare Breading:

In a shallow bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
In another shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
Bread the Steaks:

Dredge each steak in the seasoned flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and coat again in the flour.
Fry the Steaks:

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Fry the steaks until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Make the Gravy:

In the same skillet, discard excess oil, leaving about 2 tbsp.
Stir in 1/4 cup flour and cook for about 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in milk and chicken broth, cooking and stirring until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve:

Spoon the gravy over the fried steaks and serve hot.
