Ingredients:

1 lb spaghetti
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cups marinara sauce
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Extra grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Directions:

Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the meat mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent, about 3 minutes.
Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs and onions. Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
Serve the meatballs and sauce over the cooked spaghetti. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and extra grated Parmesan cheese.
