Ingredients:

4 pork chops (about 1.5 lbs)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup pineapple juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Directions:

Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
In a bowl, mix brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ground ginger.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add pork chops and cook until browned on both sides.
Pour pineapple juice mixture over pork chops.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until pork chops are cooked through.
Serve pork chops with sauce spooned over the top.
