Perfect Peach Dumplings 

Ingredients:

– 2 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted
– 1 can crescent roll dough
– 1 cup sugar
– 1/2 cup butter
– 1 teaspoon cinnamon
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 can (12 oz) lemon-lime soda
– Vanilla ice cream (optional)

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Cut each peach into 8 slices.
3. Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
4. Place a peach slice at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up towards the point.
5. Place the rolled peach dumplings in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
6. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract, and stir until the sugar dissolves.
7. Pour the butter mixture over the dumplings in the baking dish.
8. Pour the lemon-lime soda around the edges of the baking dish, not directly over the dumplings.
9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown and the sauce is bubbly.
10. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
